Conservation Project : Our Conservation Department's chairperson worked closely with a representative of the VA Department of Transportation (VDOT) to "adopt" the section of roadway that runs in front of our clubhouse, through the historic Courthouse Green section and continues .7 miles to its end at the edge of the Mattaponi River (Rt. 655, Courthouse Landing Road). With this project, Club members routinely meet to clean up litter and beautify this section of roadway. VDOT provides orange safety vests and trash bags for this effort so Club members can safely perform their volunteer work. A sign is posted by VDOT recognizing our commitment.
Dessert of the Month : Another fundraiser for the Club is this raffle. The winner receives 1 homemade dessert each month for an entire year (serves at least a family of four). The sweet treats are prepared by Club member "bakers" utilizing favorite recipes, many of which have been passed down for generations.

The Woman’s Club of King and Queen County Meeting House is located at the historic King and Queen County Courthouse ‘Green’ district, less than a minute from ‘The Trail’.
