The Woman’s Club of King and Queen County is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international women’s organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
The Club house was the first two-room school in the Courthouse area. It was built in 1909. By 1932 classes were being held elsewhere. Two years later the King and Queen Woman’s Club purchased the building.
